We are seeking a Director of Nursing/Director of Clinical Services for a Medicare certified, multi-regional and Joint Commission accredited home health agency. Expanding to others soon.
This opportunity will direct, supervise and evaluate the activities of the agency's clinical operations. The role includes direct supervisory and clinical management activities, QA, QAPI, coding, RCD, billing, regulatory compliance and reporting.
Required Experience:
Director of Clinical Services Medicare Home Health: 5 years
QA Nursing RN License: 3 years
Medicare Home Health Supervisory: 3 years
Joint Commission Survey/COP: 5 years
Axxess Home Health EMR system
Prior Experience with the VA CCN system and working with ACO's added benefit
Duties:

Strong understanding of the financial impact of clinical decisions. While not compromising patient care.
Identifies and evaluates the potential needs and resources in relation to community health and the Agency policies and programs.
Assists in the development of the policies, programs and functions for the Agency as they relate to clinical services.
Participates in the review, analysis and appraisal of effectiveness of the overall operations. Including cross department with operations and marketing.
Responsible to ensure orientation of all new staff is carried out prior to first case assignment.
Develop appropriate (QI/QA) QAPI/Quality measures review for home health agency.
Able to review Medicare SOC (Start of Care),OASIS, OASIS D/C (Discharge), OASIS Transfer, OASIS RCT (Recertification) documents and required CODING as needed.
Able to provide Inservice’s to hospital/physician offices for marketing events.
Evaluating utilization in relation to Agency goals.
Reviews/Maintains all logs, including but not limited to Infection Control, Patient Complaints, Incident Reports on at least a quarterly basis, investigates problems/potential problems noted; offers recommendations for resolution/change.
Maintains and updates Emergency Management Plan. Including training and holding exercises/drills.
Compensation: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
